1.0 · How it works

Three steps, about a minute.

You already paid for the DNA test. Verinome reads the raw file you own and turns it into a report where every single finding is graded A to D, so you know which parts to trust.

1

Get your raw file.

In 23andMe it is under Settings → Privacy/Data → Download raw data. In AncestryDNA it is DNA Settings → Download raw DNA data. They email you a link and you get a .zip. Unzip it and keep the .txt inside. You do not need to buy a new test.

2

Drop it in. It is read on your device.

Your file is parsed inside this browser tab. That multi-megabyte file never uploads, and you can watch that yourself in your browser’s network panel while it happens.

3

Read your report, graded.

You see the free preview straight away: a full file-quality audit and a starter set of real graded results, no account and no card. To build the full paid report we check about 200 marker readouts on our server, a few kilobytes with no file and no name attached, and discard them afterwards.

2.0 · What moves, and what never does

The honest version of the data path.

Most sites ask you to trust a privacy policy. This is the actual architecture, and you can verify it yourself.

YOUR FILE NEVER LEAVES YOUR BROWSER Your DNA file Read in browser Your report Our server 24 MB · 600k+ SNPs on this device graded A to D checks, then discards ~200 marker readouts a few KB · no file, no name

Your raw file never uploads. The paid report checks about 200 marker readouts and stores none of them. We would rather tell you exactly what moves than claim nothing does.
